Greeting Card Ministry
When a person is incarcerated they experience the loss of many opportunities that most of us, on the outside, take for granted. One of these losses is the ability to shop for greeting cards to send to their family and friends. Our jail ministry is able to provide greeting cards for occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas, Mother’s and father’s Day, Easter, and other holidays. We provide these cards at no cost to the inmates.
We are grateful to the administration at the jail for allowing us to do this for the inmates
Angel Tree Outreach
Children with a parent in prison grow up wondering if their mom or dad still loves them. Through Angel Tree, you can be the one to show them they do!
For more information about the Angel Tree Outreach program please contact Sue Pinkey - Angel Tree Coordinator at (607) 435-3361 or via email at rvnewholland@gmail.com. Schoharie County Rev. Cyd Collischonn (518) 657-9405
After Care Ministry
The Aftercare Ministry seeks to assist the person released from prison or jail to become adjusted to life outside the prison or jail in a constructive way. This ministry is multifaceted and complex because every released person has different needs and economic/family resources.
